Hunter’s MiruMiru™ Rosé Non Vintage
Wonderfully blush pink colour, aromas of subtle strawberry and raspberry with a touch of fresh brioche. The name MiruMiru™ translates to “bubbles” in Te Reo Māori.

The grapes were picked at optimum fruit ripeness to obtain delicate fruit flavours and particular attention was placed on a good acid/sugar balance of the fruit. The wine was treated by traditional methods, i.e. no sulphur was added so subtle oxidation occurred (the reverse of methods used for treating our table wines) yet one can still pick out the strong Marlborough fruit characters. The fruit was gently pressed with low litres per tonne extraction. The resultant juice was fermented in stainless steel tanks before undergoing full malolactic fermentation. The Chardonnay and Pinot Noir parcels were kept separate, blending just before tirage. This non-vintage Méthode Traditionelle spends 18 months on lees.

Hunter’s Wines is a member of Methode Marlborough, a group that champions high quality sparkling wines made using the same techniques as champagne, and great bubbles like this are the result. Light pink with deep berry flavours and a totally dry taste, this wine is beautifully balanced and lively with depth of bubbles.
A delightful pale pink with lots of complexity on the nose. Fresh, bright, sweet fruit aromas sit against chocolate and brioche aromas which segue through to the palate. The palate is weighty with sweet red fruit flavours that are juicy on the mid palate.
That toasty/warm brioche thing is going on here, shifts to strawberry and cream, evolves again to lovely perfume, savoury notes later still. The palate echoes the nose, savoury elements evident picking up zesty cranberry and pink grapefruit nuances. Freshness and vibrancy, full of interest, moving to a delightfully creamy close.
A delicious wine with a fruity bouquet, layers of autolysis, and energy. A dry wine that touches the palate with a bold and expressive mousse, fine to moderate bubbles, and a crunchy texture. Plush and ripe red fruit flavours of raspberry and plum, with some strawberry and velvety rose suggestions. Well made, balanced, and ready to drink from the day of purchase through 2029.
