Michelangelo Comes to Wellie!

We were thrilled when Stewart MacPherson from the Stetson Group approached us to be one of the sponsors for the upcoming Michelangelo Exhibition at the Tākina Convention Centre in Wellington.

For those who have visited the Sistine Chapel, it’s a wonderful chance to revisit some of Michelangelo’s most famous masterpieces. And for those who haven’t, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to experience life-sized reproductions of many of the iconic artworks up close.

Unlike the crowded and time-limited tours in Rome—where photography is forbidden and thousands pass through each day—this exhibition allows visitors to enjoy an intimate, eye-level view of the incredible detail in Michelangelo’s work from just metres away.

A special VIP experience is also available, featuring a private tour guided by someone who worked at the Sistine Chapel for 17 years. Guests will enjoy a glass of Hunter’s award-winning wine and delicious canapés as part of the experience.
