Katherine Mansfield House Funraiser

Wellington can certainly put on a show. Gale force winds caused havoc, but nothing can stop Wellingtonians going out to support a very worthy cause. A glass of MiruMiru on arrival was very much appreciated and got the evening off to a fine start. Guest speaker Mike McRoberts likened his flight into Wellington as worse than his previous worst flight which was into Baghdad on what was called the corkscrew flight!  Mikes account of his early life and journey into and through years of journalism with radio, tv and print media stints made for a fascinating evening and prompted lots of questions from the audience.
