Jane Visits Hong Kong

Visiting Hong Kong after being absent for a few years was uplifting. The
city was vibrant, and it was exciting to see many new, stylish pop-up
wine bars and restaurants emerging across the hospitality sector.

Northeast Wines & Spirits, under the stewardship of Betsy Haynes and
her team, have been doing a fantastic job for us since 1993.

During my few days in market, I managed to fit in wine dinners, tastings,
reacquaint myself with long-standing loyal customers, and meet
new ones. The opportunity to host a tutorial for future sommeliers was
particularly rewarding, and the strong turnout confirmed that interest in
Marlborough wines—especially Sauvignon Blanc—remains high.
