How long have you worked at Hunter’s and in what role?

Nearly 20 years as Office Manager.

What made you pursue a career in the wine industry?

Previously working in banking, I decided to have a change. The wine industry was a positive and growing industry and I was keen to learn more about the industry as a whole and the wines I love to drink. 

What do you particularly like about your job at Hunters?

I love my office, looking out at the lovely native gardens and enjoy all aspects of my job. Everyday is diļ¬€erent as we go through the various seasons in the vineyard and production phases in the winery.

Working at a winery, what is your favourite time of the year and why?

Vintage, because I get to meet and interact with so many people from all over the world. At vintage the place is a hive of activity which energises us all. 

What’s your favourite Hunter’s Wine?

Hunter’s Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and MiruMiru™ NV – golly it’s too hard to choose!
