The people and skills behind Hunter’s.
How long have you worked at Hunter’s and in what role?
Nearly 20 years as Office Manager.
What made you pursue a career in the wine industry?
Previously working in banking, I decided to have a change. The wine industry was a positive and growing industry and I was keen to learn more about the industry as a whole and the wines I love to drink.
What do you particularly like about your job at Hunters?
I love my office, looking out at the lovely native gardens and enjoy all aspects of my job. Everyday is different as we go through the various seasons in the vineyard and production phases in the winery.
Working at a winery, what is your favourite time of the year and why?
Vintage, because I get to meet and interact with so many people from all over the world. At vintage the place is a hive of activity which energises us all.
